How do I know if CCD is a good fit for me?

How long will it take for someone to contact?
A CCD representative will contact you within 24 hours after receiving your request. Be sure to provide accurate contact information to avoid any delays in follow-up.
Do you have a location?
Our Career Coaches are based in Chicago, Illinois. Services are offered through virtual online platforms and by phone. Face to face options are available in public office settings. Virtual and phone meetings are available at this time in adherence to COVID restrictions and to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.
Do you have payment plans or flexible payment options?
Yes. CCD requires a 50% deposit on all programs, sessions, and services. The remaining fee and payment options will be discussed and established per your service agreement and are due in full before final draft documents are provided or last coaching session is held. Deposits are non-refundable.
How will my information be used once provided to the career coach?
Client information is held confidential by Centerpeace Career Development, Inc., and the career coach and/or resume writer. Resume documents and any information obtained are retained in a confidential manner and are not utilized or retained for anything outside of the agreed upon service provided to you as the client.
I donated to your organization. How will I receive details of my donation?
We’d like to start by thanking you. Secondly, we will maintain a list of donors and details to ensure we are able to provide a receipt/letter for your reference and benefit. Please email email@example.com for additional details.
Do I get unlimited resume revisions?
Unlimited resume revision is available in the Comprehensive Coaching Package. We offer unlimited resume revisions up to a year for all other coaching programs and our individual resume services. Resume requests for careers and roles outside of the original agreement may be subject to an additional service fee.
What’s the difference between a Resume Revamp and a Resume Creation?
A Resume Revamp is an update and important for record-keeping. This is where we would update old or dated information, change fonts and layouts, check formatting for accuracy, update file name, update skills, certifications, training and add new or relevant information. A Resume Creation is created from scratch with no existing template provided. The resume writer will create a resume using career history, education, skills, certifications and other information provided by the client.
When can I receive my resume?
A final resumes or written documents (salary negotiation letter, retirement letter, cover letter, etc.) needed within 24 hours is assessed a $25 fee. Standard turnaround time for final resume or written document delivery is 3-5 business days. A final copy of the curriculum vitae (CV) is provided within 7-10 business days.

We ask the right questions. We listen. We help you connect your passions, gifts, and skills to your career. That is how we work our way towards the best career path for your success. The CCD Coaching Method starts by establishing a career plan, conducting career education, helping you to identify your personal brand, begin employer partnerships through strategic networking, and build a career mindset by applying the strategies learned in our program. You are no longer seeking another job but a career. We monitor our client's career development through on-going follow-up and continued educational opportunities. We are with you long-term.
Is your career education coaching provided by experienced career coaching professionals?
Our coaches are certified professional career coaches (CPCC). Centerpeace Career Development, Inc. is a proud member of the Professional Association of Resume Writers / Career Coaches (PARW/CC) which is a globally recognized certification program founded by Diane Hudson. Coaches are trained under the expertise of the PARW/CC to provide the best services to our clients. Coaches seek continued education to stay current in the industry.
Do I need a career coach?
Are you struggling with the exact value you bring to a prospective employer? Do you understand what your career mission, vision, and goals are? Are you in need of effective career search strategies? Do you shy away at the idea of an interview for fear of public speaking and not knowing what to say? Do you know what makes you marketable? Can you resume pass an application tracking system screening? Are you submitting resumes and no call backs? If the answer is yes, then we recommend you partner with a CCD Career Coach.
If I hire a Centerpeace coach will I be guaranteed to get a job?
We work hard to get you the role that you desire and provide strategies on how to establish and maintain that career. However, CCD cannot guarantee that using our services will result in you obtaining a job offer. Unfortunately, there are many factors outside our control that go into a company extending a job offer. We do our very best to make sure that you are well equipped for the role you desire at a company that meets your needs. What we can guarantee is that your career opportunities will increase and you will have a career strategy plan that will lead to increased awareness of your personal brand, confidence that shows during the interview, and the ability to make great career moves with ease.
Which coaching services do I need?
The level of coaching support you need depends upon your position in the career and your requirements.
Will I get a certificate once I complete the coaching program?
We provide a certificate of completion for our coaching program, regardless of which program you are enrolled in.
Can coaching be purchased on an individual basis without a coaching program package?
Yes. We offer coaching services on an hourly basis.

RESCHEDULING / MISSING / CANCELING SERVICES
Something came up and I need to reschedule my coaching session. Can I?
Life happens. We understand. We take every precaution during scheduling to make sure that you and your coach are available. But occasionally (rarely) a coach or you may need to reschedule a session. In such cases CCD requires written notice within 24 hours of a scheduled session. If you fail to notify us - you will forfeit your session. There are no reschedules or refunds for forfeited sessions. CCD will inform you within the same period of time if your coach needs to reschedule.
What happens if I miss a session?
If you don't provide 24 hour notice of a reschedule and you miss your session - you forfeit your session and no reschedule or refund will be issued. If you miss two sessions without notice, CCD will contact you. If you decide to discontinue your coaching or you do not respond CCD will cancel your contract and refund the remainder of your fee minus the non-refundable 50% and any sessions you missed without giving prior notice. It's very important that you give CCD notice if you need to reschedule a session. If your coach misses a session without notice - please contact us immediately.
Can I cancel my coaching package?
We don't know why you would want to, but if you want to cancel your package or sessions - please contact us immediately. Any cancellations will be prorated based on the number of sessions you've already completed - minus the non-refundable 50% fee. You may be entitled to a full refund if you cancel before any coaching sessions have taken place.
Can I cancel a group or community coaching event?
If you wish to cancel a group or community event you must give us one week's advanced notice in writing. Any refund will be calculated from the remainder of your funds minus the 50% non-refundable fee and any additional non transferable costs. If you do not cancel your group or community event in time you will forfeit any refund.
