Do I have to complete an Intake Form to receive services?

We recommend this. The intake is usually completed during your free 30 minute consultation.

How long will it take to process my request for services?

A CCD representative will contact you within 24-48 hours after receiving your request.

How much do individual or group sessions cost?

Individual and group sessions typically have a flat fee. All fees go to assist our underserved residents within the communities served that do not have access to coaching services. Some sessions and packages are custom and prices will vary based on the services provided and amount of staff needed. Do you have payment plans? Can I pay in increments?

CCD requires a 50% deposit on all programs, sessions, packages, and services. The remaining fee and payment options will be discussed and established per your contracted agreement. Deposits are non-refundable. There are financial options to assist you as well if we identify a need.  

How will my information be used in the Intake Form?

We use this information to gather details about your work history and other details. This ensures a productive coaching program.  The Intake Form is usually discussed during the initial 30-minute consultation. No worries! Your information is confidential.

Where are you all located?

We are accessible through virtual meeting platforms and various meeting place within the Chicagoland area.

I donated to your organization. How will I receive details of my donation since the 501c3 status is pending?

Centerpeace is working towards 501c3 status. If you’ve donated, we’d like to start by thanking you. Secondly, we will maintain a list of donors and details to ensure we are able to provide a receipt/letter for your reference and benefit.   

How much does your services and coaching programs cost?

Pricing is specific to the individual, group, or coaching service purchased. Pricing is available under the “Our Services” page of our website

What happens during a Mock Interview session?

The Mock Interview is just what it sounds like - your CCD coach will conduct an interview with you for the first 30-45 minutes and spend the remaining time giving you feedback on your answers, your demeanor, your attire (clothes, makeup, hair) and your overall presentation (your personality, your posture, your ability 

to articulate your thoughts, etc). Your coach will give you tips for improvement.  


What is a Mentor Match?  

Depending on your coaching package, you may be paired or matched with a professional mentor. A mentor is someone in your desired industry who is willing to share their expertise, wisdom, experiences, and ideas within order to help you make better career decisions. They act as a sounding board, a motivator, and a guide developing connections and resources. CCD mentors meet with you for 1 hour to provide knowledge in your career area.  

Can I choose my mentor?

CCD will choose a mentor for you from our database based on our assessment of your mentor needs and their availability. There are instances where mentors and mentees mutually agree that they are not right for each other. In such cases, CCD will provide a new mentor (if available) or postpone mentorship until a replacement is found.  


Do I get unlimited resume revisions?

Unlimited resume revision is available in the Career Coaching Master’s Program. However, we offer unlimited resume revisions up to a year for all other coaching programs and our individual resume services.   

What’s the difference between a Resume Revamp and a Resume Creation?

A Resume Revamp is a review of your current resume. Your coach will provide you with tips and suggestions that will help your resume stand out and get you closer to being hired in your preferred industry. Resume Creation is having a trained resume writer start with you from the beginning to create the right resume for you based on the industry you're interested in.

When can I receive my resume?

Our client service agreement will outline these details. However, it would start by you telling us your needs during the initial consultation.


How do your coaches know how to help me find the right career?  

We ask the right questions that help you connect to your passions, gifts, and skills. That is how we work our way towards your right career path. The more you know about yourself the better able you'll be to understand what direction to go in. We don't tell you what to do - we listen to you and help you find the right career for yourself.

Is your career education coaching provided by experienced career coaching professionals?

Our coaches have received hundreds of hours of coach training in order to give our clients the best possible outcomes. Some have professional training and credentials and some have on-the-job training credentials. Rest assured that your coach is professional, skilled, and dedicated to helping you reach your goals. Our career coaching curriculum is based on the Professional Association of Resume Writers / Career Coaches (PARW/CC) which is a globally recognized certification program.

Do I need a career coach?

Only you can answer that question. If you are struggling at work or struggling to find work, if you feel there is a disconnect between what you do and who you are, if you want a meaningful career and not just another job - then, yes, you need a career coach. Coaches provide instruction, direction, and support to individuals and groups. Most people don't know that careers are planned, brands are planned, improvement in planned. A career coach can help you plan to succeed in your career and in every other area of your life. It’s not just about the resume but the whole person.

If I hire a Centerpeace coach will I be guaranteed to get a job?
CCD cannot guarantee that using our services will result in you obtaining a job offer. Unfortunately, there are many factors outside our control that go into a company extending a job offers. We do our very best to make sure that you get the best coaching, the best advice, and the best feedback to put you in the best position to receive an offer. Receiving a "no" is as much a part of the process as receiving a "yes." What we can guarantee is that - we'll help you evaluate the steps you can take to improve your chances for the next job offer.

How long are the coaching programs?

Our coaching programs are 10-week long, covering all the necessary steps of coaching process.  

Which coaching services do I need?

The level of coaching support you need depends upon your position in the career and your requirements. If you are just starting, our Foundation Program will be perfect for you. On the other hand, if you feel you have enough experience in the field but want to change your career, you will benefit from CCD’s Career Coaching Bachelor’s Program. Check out the “Career Education” page to see which program fits your needs.

Will I get a certificate once I complete the coaching program?

We provide a certificate of completion for our coaching program, regardless of which program you are enrolled in.  

Can coaching be purchased on an individual basis without a coaching program package?

Yes. We offer coaching services on an hourly basis.

I think I DO need coaching! Where do I start?

You can start by scheduling your free 30-minute coaching consultation. We'll help you figure out what direction you need to go in and what the best program or service will be for you.


Something came up and I need to reschedule my coaching session. Can I?

Life happens. We understand. We take every precaution during scheduling to make sure that you and your coach are available. But occasionally (rarely) a coach or you may need to reschedule a session. In such cases CCD requires written notice within 24 hours of a scheduled session. If you fail to notify us - you will forfeit your session. There are no reschedules or refunds for forfeited sessions. CCD will inform you within the same period of time if your coach needs to reschedule.  

What happens if I miss a session?

If you don't provide 24 hour notice of a reschedule and you miss your session - you forfeit your session and no reschedule or refund will be issued. If you miss two sessions without notice, CCD will contact you. If you decide to discontinue your coaching or you do not respond CCD will cancel your contract and refund the remainder of your fee minus the non-refundable 50% and any sessions you missed without giving prior notice. It's very important that you give CCD notice if you need to reschedule a session. If your coach misses a session without notice - please contact us immediately.

Can I cancel my coaching package?

We don't know why you would want to, but if you want to cancel your package or sessions - please contact us immediately. Any cancellations will be prorated based on the number of sessions you've already completed - minus the non-refundable 50% fee. You may be entitled to a full refund if you cancel before any coaching sessions have taken place.

Can I cancel a group or community coaching event?

If you wish to cancel a group or community event you must give us one week's advanced notice in writing. Any refund will be calculated from the remainder of your funds minus the 50% non-refundable fee and any additional non transferable costs. If you do not cancel your group or community event in time you will forfeit any refund.
